OUR GUIDELINES
The Albright-Knox Art Gallery is pleased to make its outstanding facilities available to outside organizations and patrons.
At all times, the Gallery's first priority is its collection and programs. In keeping with its mission first and foremost as an art museum, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery has established policies not only to protect its valuable collection but also to ensure that its museum guests enjoy an optimum experience during public viewing hours.
Usage Fees
- Usage fees directly support the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
- If your special event requires multiple Gallery locations, the Gallery will apply a discount.
- Members at the $300 level and above receive a 10% reduction on usage fees.
- Non-profit organizations receive a ten percent reduction on usage fees.
- A fifty percent deposit is required upon contract signing at least twenty-one days prior to your event.
Cancellation Fees
- Cancellations made twenty-one days before an event will receive a refund of deposit, less a ten percent cancellation fee.
- Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made twenty days or less prior to an event.
Insurance
The facilities user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Buffalo Fine Arts Academy (governing body of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery) from all liability for acts and omissions of user's employees, agents, licensees, and invitees, in connection with the event.
Additional Costs
- Food - Food, beverages, and equipment are provided and billed by the Gallery's exclusive caterer, muse. A variety of special menus are available for your event.
- Equipment - Requests for special audio/visual equipment require a refundable deposit and rental is based on availability.
- Staff - Security and maintenance staff are provided for our guests and requirements vary based on the size and scope of your event. Charges for these services are billed at the Gallery's cost.
- Parking - During Gallery hours, guests are welcome to share the parking lot with Gallery staff and visitors at regular rates. Valet parking can be provided upon special request.
- Time - The Gallery requests that events end no later than 11 p.m. Additional usage fees for events past 11 p.m. will be charged on an hourly basis.
Additional charges will be assessed if details of the event differ from the terms of the contract.
