Uta Barths interest in the gestalt of seeing has led her to focus on the changing quality of light within familiar environments. In Untitled (aot 2), 2000, the viewer is encouraged not only to be, as Barth says, aware of [their] own activity of looking 2 and the way light creates geometry, but to experience the spaces as Eliasson did his caves. They recall bodily memories of similar conditions.
