Junior Group and Members' Council

The Junior Group and the Members' Council are two volunteer groups that play vital roles in service to the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

The groups' members commit to three-year terms as volunteers, meeting regularly at the Gallery to plan friend- and fundraising projects, and special events. In turn, their volunteer experience is enriched with programs and opportunities to learn more about the Gallery and its remarkable Collection.

Both volunteer groups have served as project incubators for several widely known Gallery projects and programs. Art Alive, the Matter at Hand program (now Creative Connection, as part of Access AK) for guests with special needs, and the Rockin’ at the Knox fundraising concert are examples of the collaborative creativity and dedication of our outstanding volunteer groups.

For more information on joining one of these groups, please contact the Development Office at 716 270.8274.
