The Collectors Gallery is a unique "gallery within the Gallery" where customers have the opportunity to view, rent, or buy original works of art for their home or office. Works by outstanding artists in a variety of media - painting, sculpture, photographs, and prints - are available. All works are carefully screened by a special selection committee and are assembled with the cooperation of area artists, galleries in New York City, and the curators of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Anyone may purchase works of art from the Collectors Gallery, and Gallery Members may rent works.
The Collectors Gallery, founded in 1933 as the "Picture Lending Library," was one of the first sales and rental galleries within a museum. The Collectors Gallery is a volunteer organization of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
