The Gallery offers free guided tours for K–12 school groups through our Arts’cool program, self-guided tours for K–12 school and college groups, group tours for adults through our new Tour AK program, public tours, and verbal description tours. View Tour Options

M&T FIRST FRIDAYS @ THE GALLERY

On the First Friday of every month—from 10 am to 10 pm—admission to the Gallery's Collection and most events and performances are free for everyone. Learn More

Art'scool

Art'scool, presented by the Albright-Knox and BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, is a school tour program designed to create the critical and creative thinkers of tomorrow. All guided school tours are free, include a transportation subsidy, and are led by a specially trained docent. Learn More

Matter at Hand

The Matter at Hand program combines tours of the Gallery’s Collection and special exhibitions, hands-on art workshops, and group discussions to enable individuals with special needs to express themselves and to learn about the language and creation of art. Learn More

Future Curators Teen Program

Future Curators is a weekly after-school program for high school students in grades 11 and 12. During the course of the program, students learn about the behind-the-scenes work of a museum curator, and ultimately organize an exhibition of artwork by young local artists. Learn More

Artist-in-Residence Program

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s Artist-in-Residence Program (AIR) brings cutting-edge contemporary artists to Buffalo to initiate art projects, events, and/or installations that will relate to and integrate our community—the people, our history, and unique environment—into their work. Learn More
