Artist-in-Residence Program
Connecting Contemporary Artists with the Community
The Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s Artist-in-Residence Program (AIR) brings cutting-edge contemporary artists to Buffalo to initiate art projects, events, and/or installations that will relate to and integrate our community—the people, our history, and unique environment—into their work.
Ingrid Calame: Step on a Crack . . .
Artist Ingrid Calame (American, born 1965) launched the program in 2008 with a major project that transformed imagery gathered in and around the City of Buffalo into an exhibition at the Gallery. Learn More about the Project
