The Albright-Knox Art Gallery offers art classes for students ages 4 through high school. Classes meet for five sessions in the spring, summer, and fall and include painting, drawing, and sculpture. Students also learn about art in the Gallery, as many projects are inspired by works in the permanent collection. Taught by local artists and art educators, this program is designed to provide an array of creative art experiences both in the Gallery and in the art studio.
Encourage your child’s love of art and register now for Art with Artists Summer Art Camp. Weeklong classes will be held in the Education classrooms at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery from 9 am to noon. Students will tour the Gallery’s Permanent Collection and special exhibitions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of their weeklong course. A mid-morning snack will be provided daily. Extended hours from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm can be arranged for an additional charge of $25.
