Art and Yoga for Fun and Relaxation

Winter 2012 Session

Saturdays, January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25, March 3 and 10 
9–10:15 am
One class: $10 for Members / $15 for non-members
Complete session: $85 for Members / $125 for non-members

Experience art, yoga, and the many connections between the two in an hour of yoga and meditative practice in ten weekly classes. Learn about the work on view in a different art-filled location each week. Each session begins with a fifteen-minute introduction to the artwork on view by a Gallery guide. Leanne Oldenbrook, a certified yoga instructor, then leads each class, exploring different aspects of yoga. Classes include stretching, strengthening, and relaxation poses, and end with an art-inspired meditation. Wear comfortable clothing and meet at the Elmwood Avenue entrance five minutes before class time. Yoga mats and music will be provided.
