Art’scool Educators’ Workshop: Wish You Were Here

Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 4–7 pm

$18 for Members / $22 for non-members
Exhibition Galleries and Education Classrooms

With Nancy Spector, Associate Curator of Education, and Lindsay Kranz, Associate, Education Department

The special exhibition Wish You Were Here: The Buffalo Avant-garde in the 1970s examines a moment when radical creativity flourished in Buffalo: amidst the city’s depressed environment of economic and industrial decline, an experimental and interdisciplinary avant-garde emerged from a loosely organized, collaborative group of artistic communities spanning the visual arts, film, video, performance, literature, and music. This workshop will include hands-on activities that explore your creative side and a discussion of how to share the artwork in this special exhibition with your students.

Registration and pre-payment are required. Please complete and mail the Program Registration Form.
