2012 Future Curators
The 2012 Future Curators team is made up of thirteen students in grades eleven and twelve: Bella Buscarino (Buffalo Seminary), Christina Chilberg (Lewiston-Porter High School), Andrew Fretz (Williamsville North High School), Evan Hayes (St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute), Courtney Lowinger (Kenmore East High School), Maria Melchiorre (Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart), Dora Ranilovic (Nichols School), Mary Rindfuss (Hamburg High School), Mitchell Riter (Nichols School), Allison Schmitz (Kenmore East High School), Cassondra Stolzenburg (Lockport High School), Amanda Tobin (Immaculata Academy), and Calder Wright (Amherst Central High School).
This exceptional team of young artists, art historians, writers, mathematicians, and musicians was selected from a large pool of applicants and began the program in January 2012. Their exhibition, Calloused, will be on view at the Gallery from Thursday, May 3, through Sunday, June 17, 2012. An Exhibition Opening celebration will take place on Thursday, May 3, from 5 to 9 pm.
