Audio Tours

Audio Wands

Audio wands are your passport to more information about selected works of art on view. Three-digit numbers access adult and youth entries. Two-digit numbers access audio description tours for guests who are visually impaired. Guest Services staff members are able to set audio wands for either adult or youth levels, and can teach you how to switch back and forth. Audio description entries are available on the adult level only.

Guidio Audio Tour App

The AK is currently offering audio tours of select works on view in our 1962 Building using the free Guidio app. Tours are available for adults, youth, visitors who are blind or partially sighted, and Spanish speakers. Download a tour before you visit to learn about the works on view. Once at the museum, select a specific work and be directed to its location; or, walk around the museum and related content will appear as you approach each featured work. You can also borrow iPods in the museum in order to access these tours.

How to get started:

  1. Download the Guidio app from the App Store or the Google Play store.
  2. Install the app and allow positioning.
  3. If you are in the US, the Albright-Knox should show as the closest available location.
  4. Download the tour you would like to take.
  5. Enjoy!
