Public Tours

The Albright-Knox offers a variety of public tours for all age groups. Each tour is led by a museum-trained docent or a member of the museum’s Education staff. All tours begin at the Guest Services Station. 

General Public Tours

Thursdays at 1:30 pm, Fridays at 1:30 pm, Saturdays at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, and Sundays at 1:30 pm
FREE with museum admission / FREE for Members

General public tours led by museum-trained docents are offered each week on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. They are free on the first Friday of each month as part of M&T FIRST FRIDAYS @ THE GALLERY and free with museum admission on other days. No pre-registration is required. 


Art Baby Stroller Tour

First Wednesday of each month at 10:30 am
FREE with museum admission / FREE for Members

This thirty-minute tour, led by Curator of Education and Community Engagement Jessica DiPalma, offers adults the opportunity to learn about works on view while young children (ages 0–24 months) absorb the colors, shapes, and tonal contrasts. Space is limited to five children (ages 0–24 months) and pre-registration is required; please call 716.270.8296 to register. 


“What’s Your Vision?” Tour

First Friday of each month at 4 pm
FREE as part of M&T FIRST FRIDAYS @ THE GALLERY

This one-hour tour encourages participants to “read” four works of art from their own perspectives. No pre-registration is required.
