Junior Group

The Junior Group was originally formed in 1952 to represent the younger Members of The Buffalo Fine Arts Academy. Today, the group is characterized by youthful energy and enthusiasm combined with a commitment to ensuring that generations to come will be able to appreciate the Gallery's world-class collection. While serious about supporting the Gallery – from raising money and attending Gallery previews and lectures to serving as ambassadors for the Gallery throughout Western New York – Members don't take themselves too seriously. Members oversee projects on behalf of the Gallery while still having fun, establishing long-lasting relationships, and sharing their interest in the Gallery.

Each year the Junior Group plans and executes events that are well attended and eagerly anticipated by the community. The Junior Group co-sponsors Rockin' at the Knox and Cookin' at the Knox. The Group also participates in the planning and organization of events to support the Gallery.
