The Colors of Play: Art and Early Childhood (Education Exhibition)
Wednesday, April 30–Tuesday, May 27, 2014
On View in the Education Exhibition Hallway
This exhibition features artwork by children aged one to seven from the Buffalo State Child Care Center. Each piece was created by an individual child or as a class to showcase the many wonderful colors of play.
The Buffalo State Child Care Center makes art an important part of its early childhood curriculum. Many thanks to the educators in the following classrooms: Michele and Monique from Infant 2; Barb and Wendy from Junior Toddlers; Laura and Lisa from the Senior Toddler room; Whitney and Jackie from the three-year-old room; and Valerie, Briana, Melindra, and Emilia from the preschool room.
Admission to this exhibition is free on M&T FIRST FRIDAYS @ THE GALLERY.
The museum is closed. Please visit us tomorrow between 10 am and 5 pm.
