On Saturday, July 5, 2014, the Albright-Knox held an opening celebration for its special exhibition Sincerely Yours: Treasures of the Queen City, which features seventy masterworks from the museum’s Collection. More than 2,000 guests visited the AK that day to take advantage of free admission to view some of Buffalo’s most treasured works, direct from their critically acclaimed stop at the Denver Art Museum. Guests also enjoyed guided tours, art activities, and live music by Erie Lackawanna Railroad.

Buffalo’s masterworks are on view in Sincerely Yours: Treasures of the Queen City through September 14, 2014, at which point they will continue their national tour to the San Diego Museum of Art; the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas; and the Milwaukee Art Museum. Don’t miss your opportunity to see these treasured works before they are gone for a full year!
