Captured: Planning for Upcoming Kelly Richardson Exhibition

Albright-Knox Curator for the Collection Holly E. Hughes is currently in England working with Kelly Richardson on an upcoming exhibition of her work at the Albright-Knox.
Hughes visited Spanish City Dome, in Whitley Bay, where Richardson’s most recent video work, Mariner 9, transports you to the surface of Mars, 200 years in the future. Hughes has also been working closely with Richardson in her studio.
The Albright-Knox exhibition is scheduled to open in February 2013. Richardson’s work was last on view at the Gallery in Videosphere: A New Generation in 2011.
