Captured: Members’ Preview and Reception for Three Special Exhibitions

October 24, 2011

On Thursday, October 20, the Gallery hosted a Members’ Preview and Reception for the special exhibitions Victoria Sambunaris: Taxonomy of a Landscape, Full Color Depression: First Kodachromes from America’s Heartland, and virocode: A Disappearance of the Source.

The evening included tours of the exhibitions by Victoria Sambunaris, Bruce Jackson, and virocode’s Andrea Mancuso and Peter D’Auria; remarks by Albright-Knox Director Louis Grachos and Buffalo Fine Arts Academy Board President Leslie Zemsky; and a reception in the Sculpture Court of the 1905 Albright Building. We look forward to seeing our Members again next month on Thursday, November 17, at the Members’ Reception for The Long Curve: 150 Years of Visionary Collecting at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. If you aren’t an Albright-Knox Member, please consider joining us.
