The Albright-Knox has recently re-launched its the Search the Collection feature. Visit www.albrightknox.org/collection/search to explore all artworks in the Gallery’s Collection.
With this new feature, you can:
- Search for an artist’s name to see all works by that artist
- Search for the title of an artwork to find and learn about that work
- Search for a keyword (for example, “guitar”) to see all works related to that word
- Search by date range to see all works created during that timeframe
Click on a particular work to see an image, if one is available, and to learn more about the work, including its materials, size, any inscriptions, and how it entered the Gallery’s Collection.
The Gallery has also launched a special search tool that accompanies the exhibition The Long Curve: 150 Years of Visionary Collecting at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. Visit www.albrightknox.org/collection/search/thelongcurve to explore objects that the Gallery acquired with the help of the five collectors featured in the exhibition.
The Search the Collection and Long Curve Search features were developed with the Gallery’s web partner, Buffalo-based Ingenious, Inc.
