Future Curators Accepting Teen Artwork for 2012 Exhibition
January 26, 2012
The 2012 Future Curators teen program is now underway. The thirteen participating high school students meet once a week to learn about the behind-the-scenes work of a museum curator and to organize an exhibition of artwork by their peers.
Current high school students are invited to submit artwork in all media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and video. The Future Curators team will consider all submissions and select the work for the exhibition, which will open with a special reception on Thursday, May 3, 2012. The exhibition will be on view at the Albright-Knox through Sunday, June 17, 2012.
The deadline to submit artwork is Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Download Entry Form (PDF)
Future Curators is funded, in part, through a generous grant from The Marks Family Foundation.
