Limited Edition Print by Jim Isermann Honors Gallery's 150th Anniversary

February 8, 2012

Installation view of Untitled, 2012, by Jim Isermann (American, born 1955). 150th Anniversary Special Edition Print. Digital print on Legion fine art paper, edition of 44, 48 x 48 inches (121.9 x 121.9 cm). Courtesy the artist and Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE).

Jim Isermann has collaborated with Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE) to create a limited edition print in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. This mesmerizing print, with its vibrant geometry and mathematical precision, is a wonderful example of the work of Isermann, who has spent his career at the intersection of abstract art and industrial design.

The artist previously collaborated with the Albright-Knox to create an eye-popping installation for the 2005 exhibition Extreme Abstraction and to design the unique floor mats in the vestibule of the Gallery’s Elmwood Avenue entrance.

Each of these limited edition prints is signed by the artist and available exclusively from the Gallery. All proceeds will benefit the Gallery, thanks to the generosity of the artist and ULAE. For more information, please contact 716.270.8211, or dsansanese@albrightknox.org.
