Future Curators Teen Program Call for Applications
September 7, 2011
Future Curators is an after-school program for high school students in grades 11 and 12. During the course of the program, students learn about the behind-the-scenes work of a museum curator and organize an exhibition of artwork by local high school artists.
Participants are involved in every step of the exhibition-planning process, including selecting artwork from a pool of submissions, writing interpretive text, organizing the exhibition’s layout, and planning an opening reception.
The Gallery is currently accepting applications for the 2012 Future Curators team. The deadline for applications is Tuesday, November 1, 2011. The weekly program will run from January 12 through the exhibition opening on May 4, 2012. Learn More or Apply
Future Curators is funded, in part, through a generous grant from The Marks Family Foundation.
