BlueCross BlueShield’s annual grant for the school years beginning September 2011, 2012, and 2013 will enable the Gallery to continue to grow Art’scool, a significant curriculum-focused program for arts in education that serves thousands of Western New York students in kindergarten through grade 12 annually. BlueCross BlueShield will also provide $10,000 per year in grants to school arts programs through the INSPIRED contest. Art’scool, a program for schools, is designed to develop critical and creative thinking skills in students through the practice of detailed looking and discussion of artwork. |
