Sabres Team Photographer Bill Wippert began photographing Sabres games during the memorable 1974–75 season, when he was still a high school student at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute. Wippert is known for his innovative techniques, including shooting games at ice level, allowing a view of the full ice surface. He often supplements these views with the use of remote still cameras tucked high in the catwalks. Adventurous and full of stories, Wippert will discuss his career, his work, and hockey.
