Performance with Young Audiences of WNY—Janice Spagnola: “Magical World of Books”

Children and families will enjoy this fun-filled program of magic, puppets, and audience participation that stresses the value of books and the importance of reading. The audience will learn about authors and illustrators while actively helping Janice create a live “choose your own adventure” story.
Janice Spagnola is an entertainer specializing in magic, puppetry, juggling, and other forms of popular entertainment. She has worked in children’s theater and for an international musical mime troupe. Since the mid-1990s, she has performed educational and motivational programs for thousands of children and their families throughout Western New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Spagnola has taught clown skills, including juggling, is a member of the Society of American Magicians, and performs "Air Sculpture," the art of twisting thousands of balloons into large-scale artworks.
