Event Recap
Participants worked collaboratively to create a surprise drawing on a piece of paper folded into thirds. First, someone drew a head on the top third of the paper and folded it over, continuing some of the lines to the second third of the paper. The second person, continuing the lines, drew a torso and folded it over, continuing some of the lines to the bottom third of the paper, where a third person continued these lines to draw the feet. A similar game was played by twentieth-century artists who belonged to an art movement known as Surrealism, which means “above reality.”
