On Thursday, March 11, 2010, the Gallery held a festive fundraiser to celebrate the United States Postal Service (USPS) unveiling of a new pane of Abstract Expressionists commemorative stamps, featuring four paintings from the Albright-Knox’s world-renowned Collection.
Local restaurants and purveyors donated great food and beverages. Clifton Hall was filled with music, conversation, photo booth favors, and a satellite post office. The centerpieces of the evening were four cakes creatively constructed by pastry chefs from The Quaker Bonnet, Dessert deli, Butterwood Desserts, and Zillycakes. It was a fantastic, fun-filled event with all proceeds benefiting the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
The Gallery thanks all of the S.W.AK. Committee Members and all of our generous donors.
