Gallery Members are invited to join us for a preview and reception celebrating the special exhibition Wish You Were Here: The Buffalo Avant-garde in the 1970s.
This exhibition, which documents a remarkable period in Buffalo’s art history, is already garnering national attention:
“At moments during the 1970s, Buffalo must have seemed the center of the avant-garde world . . . . Wish You Were Here expands to include a truly dazzling array of work by approximately one hundred artists who exhibited in the city’s many innovative venues.”
