Explore the work and creative process of artist Anselm Kiefer. This exciting workshop begins with a guided tour of the exhibition Anselm Kiefer: Beyond Landscape. Participants will then have the opportunity to sketch in the exhibition galleries before returning to the classroom, where a broad range of materials, from paint to found objects, will be provided for each participant to create their own landscape inspired by Kiefer’s work.

Registration

The workshop is limited to twenty students. Registration and pre-payment are required. To register, please complete and mail the Adult Workshop Registration Form or call 716.270.8292. The deadline for registration is April 7, 2014.

Confirmation of registration will be sent by email one week before class begins. The Albright-Knox Art Gallery reserves the right to cancel classes due to low registration numbers.

This workshop is also being offered on June 14, 2014, and August 9, 2014.
