Get a first look at the 2012 Future Curators Exhibition, Calloused, featuring artwork created by local high school students and organized by the 2012 Future Curators. All events are free and open to the public. Parking is $3 for all guests.

Sculpture Garden
The New Jazz Sextet hails from the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. In the event of rain, this performance will take place in AK café.

Performance: Greater Niagara Ballet Company
Auditorium
Dancers from the Greater Niagara Ballet Company will perform the classic ballet Pas de Quatre under the artistic direction of Beverley Ann Kammer Feder.


Event Recap

On Thursday, May 3, the Albright-Knox celebrated the opening of the 2012 Future Curators Exhibition, Calloused, with an evening of events planned by the Future Curators team. Future Curators Bella Buscarino, Andrew Fretz, Evan Hayes, and Maria Melchiorre each gave tours of the exhibition, which is on view in the Clifton Hall Link Galleries; guests enjoyed a mask-making art activity in the Education Classrooms; The New Jazz Sextet, whose members attend the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, performed in the Sculpture Garden; and dancers from the Greater Niagara Ballet Company performed the classic ballet Pas de Quatre in the Auditorium. The 2012 Future Curators Exhibition is on view through Sunday, June 17.
