Friday, July 1, 2011, 7 pm
The Sante Fe–based artist James Drake explores political, social, and universal themes through sculpture, video, installation, photography, and drawing. His video installation Tongue-cut Sparrows, 1996, featured in Videosphere: A New Generation, explores the human urge to communicate and the semiotic capacities of our words and gestures.
