Performance: Buffalo Silver Band
Friday, July 5, 2013, 8:30 pm
FREE for Members / $5 for non-members
With a history stretching back almost a century, the Buffalo Silver Band—which features twenty-five brass players and three percussionists—is a unique presence in the Buffalo Niagara music scene. As the only British-style brass band in Upstate New York, the group is one of a small but growing number of true British Brass Bands in the United States. The band’s repertoire includes traditional marches, popular songs, jazz, light classical music, and works composed expressly for the brass band genre. Join us for an evening of music and fun for the whole family.
