Art with Artists Summer Art Camp: Drawing 101 (Ages 11 and up)

Students will explore drawing through experimentation with a variety of approaches and processes. This class will develop the students’ understanding of constructing a drawing both physically and conceptually. New this year—students will receive a daily workshop on Capoeira, the Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, music, and foreign language.
More About Art with Artists Summer Art Camp
Encourage your child’s love of art and register now for Art with Artists Summer Art Camp. Each day, students will visit works in the Gallery, create hands-on art projects in the classroom, and (weather permitting) do an activity outside. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to explore elements of music with an instructor from the Community Music School; elements of drama and expression with a staff member from Shea’s Performing Arts Center; or Capoeira, a form of expression including elements of martial arts, music, and dance. A snack will be provided daily.

Extended hours from 8:30–9 am and/or noon–12:30 pm can be arranged for an additional $25 per week.
