Taking Photographs at the Museum
Photography of exhibitions on loan is not permitted. Photography, in existing light without a flash, of works from the Collection may be permitted only upon consent of museum staff. Please check with a member of our Guest Services staff before taking a photograph.
Please consider a suggested donation of $100 to support the work of the Albright-Knox in honor of your special day. Wedding photographs are welcome on our iconic grand staircase. Please note the following guidelines:
Outside the Museum:
The Albright-Knox Art Gallery permits wedding photographs on the Delaware Park side of the building—on the the lawn only—on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not take reservations for wedding photographs outside the museum.
Due to safety concerns, photography is not allowed on the Elmwood Avenue side of the building. Alcohol consumption on any part of museum premises is strictly prohibited. Upon leaving, the wedding party is responsible for removing any trash they have generated. Please also remember to take all belongings, as the museum is not responsible for lost or forgotten items.
To preserve the museum experience and amenities for our members and guests, museum restrooms are not available to those in wedding party photographs.
Inside the Museum:
Wedding and portrait photographs are not permitted in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. We wish you a memorable day.
