As part of AK360, our campus development and expansion project, the Albright-Knox will create a new work of signature architecture on the north end of its historic campus. The revitalized museum will be poised to serve as an essential element of the region’s tourism ecosystem. As a result of AK360, the Albright-Knox’s annual economic impact is expected to increase by more than 30%.
The project, designed by OMA/Shohei Shigematsu, will more than double the number of masterworks on view and will add much-needed visitor amenities, including a new restaurant, a new museum shop, and an indoor town square that will be free and open to the public. The design will also repatriate more than half an acre of green space and more fully integrate the museum’s three epoch-defining buildings with Delaware Park, creating new synergies between nature, architecture, and the vistas that connect them.
Your gift to AK360 goes well beyond bricks and mortar. Your fully tax-deductible contribution will help ensure the sustained vibrancy of the museum’s educational and exhibition programming as well as its ability to make these experiences accessible to all visitors.
We look forward to building the future hand in hand with you.
