Albright-Knox Relief Grants for Artists

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted nearly every aspect of society, including artistic communities the world over. In response to these extraordinary circumstances, the Albright-Knox launched an emergency microgrant opportunity for City of Buffalo and Erie County visual artists who are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), who are LGBTQ-identifying, or who have disabilities, and who have been negatively impacted financially by the pandemic.

The museum will distribute a total of $10,000 in one-time microgrants of either $250 or $500. Grant recipients are free to apply the funds as they see fit, and are not required to apply them toward specific artistic projects. No post-grant report will be required.

In order to process grants as quickly as possible, the deadline for applying for this opportunity is 11:59 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2020.
