The Albright-Knox Art Gallery welcomed 280 guests on a beautiful autumn evening to celebrate the power of art with two extraordinary exhibitions, Takashi Murakami: The Deep End of the Universe and Out of Sight! Art of the Senses.

Alongside one of the most ambitious series of paintings Takashi Murakami has ever created, Out of Sight! Art of the Senses brings together of unforgettable works of contemporary art that are experienced through smell, taste, hearing, and touch.

This creative black-tie event featured a cocktail reception, followed by a seated dinner paired with wines from the estates of Moët Hennessy USA. After guests experienced the exhibitions, the talented chefs of Delaware North presented a masterpiece of their own—an inventive menu to delight every sense.

The museum had the privilege to honor two special guests: the acclaimed Takashi Murakami, who has enchanted audiences the world over with his riotous color; and AK360 benefactor Jeffrey Gundlach, whose forward-thinking generosity recently opened a new chapter in the museum’s 155-year story.
