What makes a work of art good? What even makes something a work of art, period? This After Hours at AK event will explore these questions, which can be particularly difficult to answer when you’re looking at contemporary art. Drawing on her background as an art critic and professor of art history, Assistant Curator Dr. Tina Rivers Ryan will provide some tips on how you can look at and judge contemporary art like an expert.

Space is limited; RSVP/buy tickets online or contact 716.270.8247 or membership@albrightknox.org by Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
