Art Alive 2015

Saturday, June 6, 2015

12 pm - 2 pm EDT

Students from West Valley Central School won the judges' Off-the-Beaten-Path Award for Most Unusual for their re-creation of Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s Luncheon of the Boating Party, 1880–81 (Collection Phillips Collection, Washington, D.C.), at Art Alive 2015. Photograph by Tom Loonan.

On Saturday, June 6, 2015, students, teachers, families, and friends created living representations of works of art from the Albright-Knox's collection and beyond for the 19th annual Art Alive living art contest. Thousands of spectators turned out in the beautiful weather to enjoy the tableaux and vote for their favorites in the People's Choice Awards.
