About the Teacher

Bethany Krull got her early training in ceramics at Buffalo State and received her MFA from the School for American Crafts at RIT. From there, she went on to residencies throughout the country at The Flower City Arts Center, The Armory Art Center, Goggleworks Center for the Arts, and the Archie Bray Foundation before moving back to her hometown of Buffalo, where she maintains an active home studio. Her porcelain and mixed media animal sculptures have been included in many regional, national, and international exhibitions, including Eureka! at the Blue Leaf Gallery in Dublin, Ireland; The Ceramics Biennial at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, New Hampshire; Hot Rookies at the Gyeonggi International Ceramics Biennial in Seoul, South Korea; and They're Fired at The Bernice Steinbaum Gallery in Miami, Florida.
