Donor Circles Members: Please join us for a live drawing demonstration in the Albright-Knox’s Sculpture Court with artist Shantell Martin to celebrate of the opening of her exhibition Shantell Martin: Someday We Can. A reception will follow featuring cocktails from Bootleg Bucha and Lockhouse Distillery and pastries from Butter Block.

Using her elegant trademark linework—black ink on white surfaces—Shantell Martin transforms everything from walls to found objects, ceramics, toys, sneakers, and even the faces and bodies of participants and passersby into a signature visual narrative. This is the first time an artist working with the Albright-Knox’s Public Art Initiative will install work simultaneously at the museum and in the community.

RSVP by March 3 to membership@albrightknox.org or 716.270.8247. Black-and-white attire is encouraged.
