This year, the Albright-Knox’s signature fall gala was like no other. On Friday, November 8, we celebrated the past, present, and future of the museum’s beloved campus and the countless children and adults who have brought its halls and galleries to life over the years.

Nearly 300 guests dressed in their best black-tie vintage and vintage-inspired attire as they enjoyed cocktails and dancing amid an exhibition of Anthony McCall’s unforgettable, interactive light installations in the 1905 Building. We were honored to welcome Anthony and Annabel McCall as our special guests for the evening.

The gifted chefs of Delaware North created a menu that took guests on a culinary journey from 1905, the year our renowned Beaux-Arts building was constructed, into the future. Under the brilliant direction of Kevin Bohner, Godin-Spaulding Curator & Curator for the Collection Holly E. Hughes, and the museum’s Digital Assets and Archives Departments, the technicians of Advantage TI illuminated the 1962 Building’s galleries with stunning images marking the most celebrated moments of the museum’s history.

Thanks to all who joined us to celebrate the museum’s past and look forward to its future.
