In this workshop led by Hervé Tullet: Shape and Color resident artist Julia Bottoms, participants will learn about a mural-making material called Polytab and create their own work of art with it. This exciting material allows for mural-making anywhere and eliminates the need for artists to work on lift equipment. Participants will see a live demonstration of some of the techniques Julia uses when creating on Polytab. Students are asked to bring at least one photograph of a person, object, or animal that inspires them. This “point of inspiration” will be the basis of their work of art during the workshop. All other materials will be provided. Painting clothes are recommended!
Space is limited to 15 participants in order to maintain social distancing. This workshop is free but pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Please register online.
