Join us for a special evening celebrating the partnership between the Albright-Knox and the Buffalo Chamber Players as the museum’s resident ensemble presents an intimate concert featuring two major musical works by Italian composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi (1710–1736) in the Sculpture Court.

The concert program incudes Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater for soprano, alto, strings, and continuo (1736), with soprano Lydia Evans and alto Lynne McMurtry, and a fully staged production of his comic opera La serva padrona (1733), with soprano Colleen Marcello, baritone James Wright, and actor David Bondrow.

This is a rare opportunity to experience these masterworks performed by an all-star cast in an intimate setting. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available.
