Educators: Please join us for the first collaborative workshop between the Albright-Knox and Buffalo State College. This workshop will begin at the museum in the special exhibition Drawing: The Beginning of Everything, to spark inspiration for the day’s projects. The next part will take place in the digital media lab in Upton Hall at Buffalo State College, during which you will learn practical ways of incorporating technology into your classroom with Assistant Professor Brent Patterson. You will leave this session with a short animation.

In the afternoon, School and Docent Programs Coordinator Lindsay Kranz will lead a tour of Drawing: The Beginning of Everything, followed by hands-on art activities that will explore the unique drawing techniques contemporary artists use within their works. The day’s sessions will provide a chance to collaborate with fellow educators and get inspired to create integrated classroom lesson plans.
