Join us for Sunday Insights, where community members relate their work and experience to the art on view. On October 20, the Buffalo Museum of Science’s Community Partnerships & Adult Programs Manager Gabrielle Graham will explore the science behind the special exhibition Anthony McCall: Dark Rooms, Solid Light.

About the Speaker

Gabrielle Graham came to Buffalo in 2017 to join the Buffalo Museum of Science in a newly created role focusing on community and adult audiences. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, she holds a Master’s degree in the History and Philosophy of Science from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities. She has presented at conferences nationally and internationally on the influence of amateurs in scientific practice and the role of museums in scientific understanding. At the Buffalo Museum of Science, she creates cross-disciplinary workshops, lectures, and after-hours events, and serves on the East Side Family and Educational Development Campus planning group. In her free time, she enjoys cooking vegan meals and spending time with her two dogs and two cats.
