The Albright-Knox’s annual gala will celebrate the opening of the new exhibition We the People: New Art from the Collection. Whether creating paintings or videos, sculptures or photographs, the artists in this exhibition are interested in how we define our identities, form our communities, and confront the various forces that shape our lives. The featured works are all new additions to the museum’s collection and most have never before been on view at the Albright-Knox.

This black-tie affair will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Sculpture Court, with the opportunity to view the exhibition in the adjoining galleries. Amid the extraordinary work in the exhibition, special guest artist Subodh Gupta will contribute his culinary talents to the evening. We look forward to an unforgettable evening celebrating incredible art, world-class cuisine and wines, and fellowship among our community in the museum’s historic galleries.

The We the People Gala is now sold out! Thank you for your interest in supporting the museum. If you would like to make a donation or are interested in underwriting opportunities, please contact Deputy Director of Advancement Cathy Gatewood at cgatewood@albrightknox.org or 716.270.8274, or Manager of Major Gifts Erin Sheets at esheets@albrightknox.org or 716. 270.8385.
