During the summer of 2018, 16 local K–12 educators worked with the Albright-Knox’s Education and Community Engagement Department to develop curricula around The Freedom Wall to be shared with teachers nationally.
The goal of this program was to create lesson plans that contained a visual art component and a cross-curricula connection in response to The Freedom Wall. The group of educators included teachers for visual art, social studies, and English as a New Language, as well as library media specialists and general classroom educators.
