Captured: M&T FIRST FRIDAYS on Friday, March 2

March 6, 2012

PUSH Physical Theatre performs in the Gallery's Auditorium.

On Friday, March 2, the Gallery hosted a performance by PUSH Physical Theatre, presented in collaboration with Young Audiences of Western New York, as part of M&T FIRST FRIDAYS @ THE GALLERY. View photos from this performance below.

The Gallery’s March first Friday events also included a screening of the documentary film The Desert of Forbidden Art (2010), about an artist who rescues 40,000 forbidden artworks and creates a museum in the desert of Uzbekistan, and a tour of The Long Curve: 150 Years of Visionary Collecting at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, which closed on Sunday, March 4.

We hope to see you here for the next first Friday on April 6, when we will launch a new Toddler Art Class and host a special event, Dvorák’s American Style, in which the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will present a fascinating look into the American influences on the classical composer Antonín Dvorák.
