American, born 1922

Beverly Pepper is a world-renowned artist celebrated for her large-scale sculptures in cast iron, bronze, steel, stainless steel, and stone as well as site-specific projects in which she incorporates expanses of industrial metals into the landscape. Her work has been exhibited and collected by major museums around the world, and the Albright-Knox’s collection includes several sculptures by Pepper, including "Zig-Zag," 1967.
