About the Artists

Ravi Padmanabha 
Ravi Padmanabha is a composer, improviser, and multi-instrumentalist. He has spent many years studying and playing a wide variety of music, including jazz, world, Indian, and experimental music. He has studied with many masters from India, including Pandit Samar Saha, Pandit Sharda Sahai, and Pankaj Misra. Ravi is featured on many recordings and has led various musical projects such as My Nada Brahma, the Bul-Bul Tarang Gang, Family FUNKtion and the Sitar Jams, and most recently the Transindental Karmacist and Americana Raga. He has performed in duo with Steve Baczkowski, Tom Chess, Alex Glenfield, and Brandon Terzic for many years. Ravi has performed with many others, including William Parker, William Cole, Junni Booth, Robert Dick, Daniel Carter, Cooper Moore, Arrington DeDionyso, and Paul Flaherty. 

David Mussen
David Mussen is a multi-instrumentalist musician and songwriter based in Buffalo, NY. He has a passion for music and its intersection with culture, which has led him to explore various genres and styles of music throughout his career. He is a versatile musician who is equally comfortable playing Western Swing with The Skiffle Minstrels, original music with Robot Holiday, or Afro-Latin street music with the 12/8 Path. He believes that music is a powerful tool that can bring people together and bridge cultural divides, and has the power to heal and transform our lives for the better.
